Visit to Czech pianist Alice Herz-Sommer (born 1903 in Prague) in London, May 26, 2008. Alice Herz-Sommer gave over 100 concerts in the concentration camp of Theresiënstadt. She survived and emigrated to Israel in 1949 and from there to London in 1983. She knew many artists like Gustav Mahler and Franz Kafka and was also friends with the composer Viktor Ullmann. Ullmann's 7th Sonata for Piano has been composed in Theresiënstadt and will be performed there by Marcel on June 22, 2008.
