April 28, 2008: Marcels new CD has been released now: on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban-Spanish composer Joaquin Nin-Culmell (1908-2004) Marcel recorded most of his works for piano. Nin-Culmells music is still wongly not widely known. The music is very spanish, vital and spicy and has hardly been recorded. For more information and to order this CD: see discography

April 4, 2007: after the release, in december 2006, of the recording of Mompou’s Música Callada, Marcel has joined forces with four colleagues to record most of Mompou’s chamber music. As far as we know this is the first CD completely devoted to Mompou’s chamber works. Read more about the CD and how to order it.
February 17, 2007: Dutch publisher Donemus has released two albums with the scores of 31 bluespieces by Dutch composers, written between 1996 and 2006 for Marcels bluesproject. The albums can be ordered at www.donemus.nl. In each album a CD is included where the published scores can be heard as well. For the Dutch Attacca label a double CD has been released simultaneously (Red, White & Blues) with the same repertory plus Theo Loevendies 'Barpianist' as a bonus track. January 6, 2007: Marcels new CD has just been released: a recording of Música Callada (silent music) by the Catalan composer Federico Mompou. In 28 miniatures Mompou creates a magical and mystical world, in which Catalan folkmusic is omnipresent.

January 7 2007, between 10 and 11 a.m. - In the radioprogram 'Spiegelzaal', live from the Amsterdam Concertgebouw on Radio 4, Marcel will perform a selection from Mompou's 'Música Callada'

04-08-2006: After their CD Treasures 1937-1944, released last december, another CD by Marcel Worms and flutist Eleonore Pameijer has been released on the Future Classics label. On their CD Spanning the Globe - Music from 6 Continents they present an anthology of the new works, which have been composed for their 6 Continents Project. For this project composers from all 6 continents were invited to compose a work for flute and piano in which they should express their cultural identity.

12-05-2005: the new CD by Marcel Worms and flautist Eleonore Pamijer has been released for the dutch label Future Classics.
On the CD Treasures 1937-1944 the Duo can be heard in works by dutch, jewish composers, who were persecuted by the nazis before and during the second World War: Leo Smit, Rosy Wertheim, Nico Richter, Daniël Belinfante en Dick Kattenburg. Marius Flothuis was not jewish but hew was active in the resitance and composed the works on this CD during his stay in the dutch Camp Vught.
